The objective of this module is to provide students with:
- how energy and momentum balance is maintained in the climate system;
- knowledge of global climate system;
- climate variability and basic aspects of its prediction and projection;
- link between human activities and climate change.

After attending this module, students should be able to:
- describe the main aspects of climate system and climate change;
- formulate and test hypotheses for the climate sensitivity and variability;
- analyze results from testing hypotheses.
